First of all - a big thank you to all those out there who provide advance and "live" running information, without whom a lot of these images wouldn't have been obtained.
The "Unusual" collections are basically images of workings which aren't listed in Freightmaster, although due to their "Z" codes, "regular" test trains are included in these galleries. Light engine moves that aren't simply an "unloaded" service are included here too.
The "General" galleries are primarily of regular workings with a slight difference eg. where the traction is unusual and/or the train is running on an "unusual" day. These galleries also include "engineers" trains and "diversions"
And now the blurb...
The majority of the images included in the 2004 and later galleries, were obtained in or around the Thames Valley 'cos I can't be bothered to travel very far (and it's more environmentally friendly lol). Some of these pictures are scans from prints or negatives. Unfortunately, the quality of these leaves a lot to be desired ! When I find time, I will redo the worst. Some of the images made during 2004 and 2005 were done so with a defective digital camera which the manufacturer eventually replaced. Some images are simply naff - but are included as a record of the event. To reduce viewers download times, the photographs have also been resized prior to uploading.
